Amanda is a Director and heads up the firm’s Property & Business Transactions section. A highly experienced lawyer, Amanda provides expertise across all aspects of rural, commercial, industrial and retail property and business transactions.
Amanda loves working with clients and helping them with exciting new ventures, such as buying businesses or farms or signing a lease to go into a new business premise. She enjoys long-term relationships with her clients, having worked with many clients for over a decade.
Amanda is a team-player, and believes in working with her clients, colleagues, and often, the other party, to find an agreeable outcome for everyone where possible. She derives great satisfaction from being regarded by her clients as a member of their team, helping them with their businesses and personal challenges.
After growing up and helping out on her family’s cotton farm, Amanda chose to study law for the academic challenge, and has found working as a lawyer a thoroughly rewarding career.
Amanda is also heavily involved in her local community, with various Board and Committee roles over the years, including eight years as a Director on the Board of Empire Theatres Pty Ltd, and as a founding member of the management committee of Protea Place Inc, a local charity supporting women in crisis.
